Wellbeing Round

Beginning on 11th November BCC will be having a dedicated round to discuss, focus on and educate ourselves on what wellbeing looks like for our members. Again, this season, we’ll be asking our players to wear a green ribbon sticker to signify the significance of the round and to engage in healthy conversations around wellbeing. We’ll be engaging with Ashburton Pool & Rec during this week as well as Sports and Life Training for a senior education session.

We’ll also be launching our new Connections’ program during this round, which will involve Junior teams connecting with Senior teams during the season. Shared training & gameday experiences will be the key, ensuring that our younger players feel supported, connected and engaged with our older playing group. There will be special ‘Connections Rounds’ during the season which will also involve social nights at the club. Details on the specifics of this to follow.
