About the event

We are gearing up for another fantastic Fix the Mix event with this one more of a workshop style really honing in on specific things that can help your club become more inclusive and diverse.

Focus will be on ‘collaboration, idea sharing and action’ to discuss:

  • Inclusion & diversity ideas clubs could do within the next 12 mths, 24 mths, 36 mths
  • Strategies to get engagement of these from your clubs (eg. recruiting new volunteers to help, creating sub committees, having male champions, etc.)
  • How to overcome roadblocks/negativity

We’ll hear from:

  • ECA:  discussing strategic plan and how we all need to be involved in the discussion around the growth of women & girls cricket and how the Fair Access Roadmap will effect us all
  • City of Boroondara:  the launch of their Inclusion Plan Toolkit to provide a really easy and focussed plan about creating the change we all want to see at community club level as well as some open funding grant opportunities.
  • Mary Evans:  President Richmond Union will guide participants through a series of questions where we’ll break away into groups to workshop and brainstorm ideas to create sustainable change in our clubs, one initiative at a time

Please RSVP via the trybooking link and share to any other members of your club that may wish to also attend. We thank the ECA for funding the catering of this event and Sam Taylor from the City of Boroondara for also attending.
